Kevin Mitchell
CRA, P.App.
Kevin has always been drawn to real estate. One of the original appraisers at Astro, Kevin has been with the company since 1994 and he’s been instrumental in helping it grow to where it is today. Kevin received his CRA designation in 1990, gaining experience at two Victoria-based firms before moving to Astro. He brings more than three decades of valuation experience working in the Cowichan Valley to every property he appraises.

Richard Jansen
CRA, P.App.
A lifelong resident of the Cowichan Valley, Richard has extensive local appraisal experience in the area. Having worked in appraisals since 2005, he received his CRA designation in 2007 formalizing his credentials as an appraiser. Prior to receiving his designation, Richard achieved a BA degree in Economics from UVIC with distinction. Richard has both a professional and person interest in real estate; he has built a few of his own homes and has subdivided the property he lives on.

Sandy Bednarz

With a demonstrated track record in commercial appraisals, Sandy brings previous experience working at recognized local commercial firms, including DR Coell, to her work at Astro. Prior to beginning her AIC candidacy through Sauder UBC, Sandy spent 15 years working in a variety of administrative functions including bookkeeping, marketing, and business systems, where she developed a keen eye for detail and strong research skills.

Sewailu has extensive experience in financial administration and a passion for working among a team of professionals. With 15 years of administration experience in growing, fast-paced organizations, including nearly five years working at an appraisal firm, and in key roles including financial administrator, executive assistant, and office manager, Sewailu brings a keen eye for detail and accuracy along with the ability to efficiently administer financial and legal documentation.
